I undertook the task of crafting a compelling layout for a booklet designated for the Fall 2023 portfolio class. The primary objective of this booklet was to seamlessly encapsulate the students' creative endeavors and their profound passion for graphic design within a single, visually captivating spread.

In the meticulous planning phase of designing the booklet, I delved into Flagler's rich history. Serendipitously, my exploration led me to a treasure trove—the Flagler College Archives website, where I stumbled upon a yearbook from 1983. Drawing inspiration from this archival find, I carefully selected the typeface employed in the yearbook and incorporated some evocative imagery into our project.

The allure of the yearbook's layouts, characterized by their simplicity, coupled with the warmth exuded by the imagery, resonated deeply with me. In my design approach, I aimed to infuse a sense of nostalgia, envisioning that the portfolio students would experience a delightful journey back in time, reminiscent of perusing the pages of an old yearbook.
